Meeting today’s challenges

With the rental module in YGlobal you manage your machine fleet in an integrated way. All machines can be identified with their specific characteristics and related accessories that can be used on them. In the history of the fleet you can consult purchases, interventions, rental contracts or sales. You have a detailed cost-benefit analysis per machine in the fleet.

Rental registration

Calendar for selecting the available machine for the requested period; all related accessories are also shown and can be selected.

Machine pick-up

In the workshop the rental contract can be retrieved via touchscreen and handheld scanner. Checklists linked to each machine type can be used, for example checking tyre pressure. Some checks can also be mandatory, such as machine hour counter, fuel, etc. The accessories to be added and their respective checklists are also handled.

Machine return

On return, the rental contract can be found via serial number, machine ID or plate number, so the workshop can perform the checks foreseen for the material in question, e.g. hour counter, fuel, cleaning needed yes/no, own transport with possible kilometres. A specific rate can be linked to each check. This is all done in the workshop via touchscreen and handheld scanner. Afterwards the machine is available again unless it is linked to a repair or inspection file.

Invoicing

After the return, the file is further processed administratively: possible remarks from the customer and checking of the receipt data. Extra costs such as fuel, cleaning and damage are settled. The final invoice can be a settlement, since periodic advances can be invoiced for long-term rental. These periodic advance invoices are automatically proposed by the system depending on the contract type.

Repairs and maintenance

A maintenance or repair file can start from a quotation and evolve into a repair. The warehouse keeper scans the repair document and the spare parts he takes from stock at the technician’s request. The scanned parts are automatically added to the repair file and the stock of the workshop or warehouse is automatically updated. Time registration can be done via touchscreen or scanner. When the intervention is done the technician closes the file, after which administration takes over for invoicing. Every intervention with all details is added to the machine history. Checklists with working times per technician per file can be retrieved.
